Founder & CEO

My father was a construction manager, and as a girl I would sometimes visit him on the building site. One thing he said has remained with me ever since: always pay attention to the details. That advice has especially stood me in good stead since I founded relocation and real estate company Matterhorn Relocation in 2012. After all, helping people from all over the world find the right address for them in Switzerland is all about the details. Does it feel like home from the very first moment? At Matterhorn, the answer should always be “Yes”. Although I was born in the Valais Alps, I have an international mindset: I went to school in French-speaking Switzerland, studied in Florida, travel a lot and have friends all over the world. This is also reflected in my professional background, having worked with international clients at some of the best hotels in Zermatt, Crans-Montana and Lucerne. I then went on to become a relocation consultant in Zurich. This is a place that is constantly evolving, always exciting and sometimes surprising - and I look forward to showing it to every one of our clients.

The secret to success: Yoga and traveling keep my body flexible and my mind open to special circumstances and unique experiences.

Relocation & Real Estate

Having grown up in Zurich, I'm a huge lover of nature and the mountains. My work led me to Milan, where I ran my own fashion company for many years. I gained a great deal of experience in high-pressure situations and collaborative projects, which I now apply in my position at Matterhorn Relocation. I've been in the real estate business since 2011, and every day brings new challenges with it. For me, life boils down to this: fill your life with adventures, not things. Have stories to tell, not stuff to show.

The secret to success: Having an intimate connection to nature - especially the Alps - keeps me grounded at all times.

Having grown up in the town of Kilchberg, I know Zurich like the back of my hand. From the lake to the Alps to the city, I'm at home everywhere. In my work, I have a dual role: as a relocation consultant at Matterhorn Relocation and as the real estate manager of NS Property AG, which is owned by my family. The two complement one another very well.

The secret to success: Being able to identify strongly with the region where you work is, I feel, important for doing business.

Educational & Relocation

Originally from Chicago in the USA, I've called Kilchberg home for the past 10 years. In that time, I've raised a family (two kids!) and worked as a tutor at an international school. My international background paired with my love of meeting people and sharing experiences with other expats has prepared me well for the real estate market, which calls for a human touch.

The secret to success: Being there for your network of contacts builds trust, creates a sense of mutual support and turns a business relationship into a personal one.

I was born and raised in the village of Kandersteg in the Bernese Oberland, and I spent more than 20 years working at various hotels in Crans Montana, Zermatt, Montreux, Lausanne and Wengen. This means that I have a great deal of experience and passion when it comes to accommodation, people management and gastronomy (it helps, too, that I have a chef for a husband). Outside of work, I enjoy losing myself in natural surroundings and discovering new places and different cultures. In that sense, I think the travel blogger Matthew Karsten best sums up my attitude to life: Investment in travel is an investment in yourself.

The secret to success: Power networking is essential in our ever-changing world. In addition, it's important to keep seeking out what is new and unknown. Finally, I always make sure to be critical of myself and act with respect and empathy.

Concierge & Relocation

I moved to Switzerland more than two decades ago, during which time I've forged a career in event management and the concierge business. Zurich holds a special place in my heart, and I love to help our clients find exactly the right corner of it for them. I'm more than happy to give them a few tips on the best restaurants and bars in the city, too. After all, trying out the hottest addresses is what I like doing more than anything.

The secret to success: Knowing the hotspots, hidden gems and classic haunts is something clients truly appreciate - and shows that you're an expert.
